About these terms
These terms govern your use of ww2wayfinder.com and any purchase you make through it. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to them, so please read them first.
The short version: we'll deal with you fairly, we won't sell your data, and we won't fill your inbox. We're here to tell the story of the Second World War in north-west Europe, to offer well-made clothing and gifts inspired by it, and perhaps to persuade you to go and walk the ground for yourself one day.
These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, including visitors and customers. Any new features or tools we add to the shop are also covered by them. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or place an order.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Who we are
This website is operated by WW2 Wayfinder Ltd. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean WW2 Wayfinder Ltd

1. Using our shop
By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are 18 or over, or that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms for you.
You must not use our products or this site for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, or in a way that breaks any law where you live, including copyright law.
If you seriously breach these terms, we may suspend or end your access to the site.
2. General conditions
We may decline an order or restrict access to the site where we have a good reason (see section 6).
Information you send us, other than card details, may travel unencrypted across various networks and be adapted to meet the technical requirements of those networks or devices. Card details are always encrypted in transit and are handled by our payment provider.
All content on this site, including our designs, artwork, photographs, video and text, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, resell or otherwise exploit any of it, or any of our products, without our written permission.
Headings in these terms are for convenience only and don't affect their meaning.
3. Accuracy of information
Material on this site is for general information only. We work hard to get it right, but we can't guarantee it is complete, accurate or current. Please don't rely on it as the only basis for any decision.
Historical content. Much of this site deals with Second World War history. Sources, eyewitness accounts and interpretations differ, and new research can change the picture. If you spot something you believe is wrong, we'd welcome a correction (see section 21).
Battlefields, memorials and museums. Access arrangements, opening times and site conditions change. Please check with the site, museum or landowner before you visit, and respect private land and places of remembrance.
We may update content at any time but have no obligation to do so. It's your responsibility to check the site for changes.
4. Changes to the site and prices
Prices may change without notice. The price you pay is the one shown when you place your order.
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site or shop at any time without notice. We aren't liable to you or anyone else for doing so, but if a change affects an order you've already paid for, we'll refund you.
5. Products
Some products are available only online and may be in limited quantities.
Many products are printed to order, so small variations in print position, colour and sizing between items are normal.
We show product colours and images as accurately as we can, but every screen displays colour differently, so we can't guarantee your display matches the product exactly.
We may limit sales of any product to any person, region or jurisdiction, limit the quantities we offer, change product descriptions, or discontinue any product at any time. Any offer on this site is void where prohibited by law.
Cancellations, returns and faulty items are covered in section 18.
6. Orders, payment and delivery
Placing an order. Your order is an offer to buy. We'll email you to confirm we've received it, and the contract between us is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.
Declining or cancelling orders. We may decline or cancel an order, or limit quantities per person, household, account, payment card or address. We'll only do so for a good reason, for example if an item is unavailable, there's a pricing error, we suspect fraud, or the order appears to come from a dealer, reseller or distributor. If we cancel an order after you've paid, we'll contact you using the details you gave us and refund you in full.
Your details. Please give us current, complete and accurate purchase and account information, and update it promptly (including your email address, phone number and billing and delivery details) so that we can complete your order and contact you if needed.
Delivery address. You're responsible for making sure the delivery address you give at checkout is correct and complete, including the country, postcode or ZIP code, and any flat or unit number.
Once an order is in production or has been dispatched, we may not be able to change the delivery address. Any rerouting, interception or redelivery fees charged by the carrier are your responsibility.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for non-delivery, delay or loss caused by an incorrect or incomplete address you provided.
If an order sent to an incorrect or incomplete address doesn't reach you, we can't offer a refund or replacement unless the parcel is returned to us. If it is, we'll refund you in line with section 18.
Delivery times. We'll deliver within the timescale shown at checkout and, unless we agree otherwise, within 30 days of your order.
7. Third-party tools
We may give you access to third-party tools that we don't monitor, control or contribute to. They're provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, representation or endorsement from us, and we have no liability arising from your use of them.
You use any optional third-party tool at your own risk and discretion. Please make sure you understand and accept the terms on which the provider offers it.
Any new features or services we add to the site in future are also covered by these terms.
8. Third-party links
Some content, products and services on this site may include material from third parties. Our site may also link to other websites, such as YouTube, Fourthwall, museums and archives, which aren't affiliated with us.
We don't check or vouch for the content or accuracy of third-party websites or materials, and we aren't responsible or liable for them, or for any goods, services or transactions you make through them. Please read their policies before you buy anything or share your data. Questions or complaints about third-party products should go to the third party.
9. Comments, feedback and other submissions
If you send us comments, suggestions or other material, you agree that it won't infringe anyone's rights, including copyright, trade mark, privacy or personality rights. It must not contain defamatory, unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or any virus or malware that could affect the site.
You must not use a false email address, pretend to be someone else, or mislead us or anyone else about where a comment came from. You're solely responsible for your comments and their accuracy, and we accept no responsibility or liability for comments posted by you or any third party.
We may, but don't have to, monitor, edit or remove content we consider unlawful, offensive, objectionable or infringing, or that breaches these terms.
10. Personal information
How we collect and use your personal information when you use the site or place an order is explained in our Privacy Policy: We don't sell your personal data.
11. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Occasionally the site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions in product descriptions, prices, promotions, offers, delivery charges, delivery times or availability. We may correct these and update information at any time without notice.
If an order you've placed is affected by an obvious pricing or description error, we'll contact you before going ahead, and you can cancel for a full refund.
We aren't obliged to update, amend or clarify information on the site except where the law requires. A "last updated" date on any page doesn't mean everything on the site has been updated.
12. Prohibited uses
As well as the other restrictions in these terms, you must not use the site or its content:
for any unlawful purpose, or to encourage others to do anything unlawful;
to breach any international, national or local law or regulation;
to infringe our intellectual property rights or anyone else's;
to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, intimidate or discriminate against anyone;
to submit false or misleading information;
to upload or send viruses or other malicious code that could affect the site, any related website, other websites or the internet;
to collect or track other people's personal information;
to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl or scrape;
for any obscene or immoral purpose; or
to interfere with or get around the security features of the site, any related website, other websites or the internet.
We may end your use of the site if you breach any of these restrictions.
13. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate WW2 Wayfinder Ltd for any reasonable losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from a claim by a third party caused by your breach of these terms, your breach of any law, or your infringement of someone else's rights.
14. Our liability to you
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.
We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products you buy, such as their being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Our products are for domestic and private use. We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
15. Severability
If a court or other authority decides that any part of these terms is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that part will still apply to the fullest extent the law allows. The rest of these terms will remain in full force.
16. Entire agreement and waiver
These terms, together with any policies or rules we publish on this site, form the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the site and your purchases. They replace any earlier agreements, communications or proposals, whether written or spoken, including earlier versions of these terms.
If we don't enforce a right under these terms straight away, that doesn't mean we've given it up, and we can still enforce it later.
17. Governing law
These terms, and any separate agreement under which we provide products or services to you, are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
18. Cancellations, returns and faulty items
This section applies to orders placed on ww2wayfinder.com. Orders from our Fourthwall store follow Fourthwall's returns policy.
Changing your mind. You can cancel your order, without giving a reason, at any time from placing it until 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods.
To cancel, tell us clearly by emailing contactww2wayfinder@gmail.com.
Please return items unworn, unwashed and in their original packaging where possible. You may handle items as you would in a shop, but we may reduce your refund if their value has gone down because they've been handled more than that.
Your refund. We'll refund the price you paid plus our standard delivery charge. If you chose a faster delivery option, we'll refund the standard delivery rate only.
We'll refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you giving us proof that you've sent them, whichever is sooner.
We'll refund you using your original payment method, and we won't charge you a fee for the refund.
Exceptions. The right to cancel doesn't apply to items made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as items printed with a name or custom text you supplied. Our standard designs printed to order are not personalised items and can be returned.
Faulty, damaged or misdescribed items. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If an item arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted or not as described, please email us with your order number and a photo.
Within 30 days of delivery, you're entitled to a full refund.
After 30 days, you're entitled to a repair or replacement. If that isn't possible or doesn't fix the problem, you're entitled to a refund, which may be reduced to reflect use if more than six months have passed since delivery.
We'll cover the cost of returning faulty items to us.
19. Customs and import duties
Orders delivered outside the UK may be subject to customs duties, tariffs and import taxes charged by the destination country. These charges aren't included in our prices and are payable by you. We aren't responsible for delays, fees or non-delivery caused by unpaid customs charges.
20. Changes to these terms
You can read the current version of these terms on this page at any time. We may update, change or replace any part of them by posting the new version here.
The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. Continuing to use the site after we post changes means you accept them, so please check this page from time to time.
