Tiger I Tank Sticker – WW2 Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger

The Tiger I, the most famous and most feared tank of the Second World War.

The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E entered combat in 1942. It weighed around 57 tonnes and had thick frontal armour and the devastating 8.8 cm KwK 36 gun, so it could destroy almost any Allied tank at long range while shrugging off return fire. It was also complicated, thirsty and expensive, and only around 1,350 were built. But its reputation was far bigger than its numbers: Allied tank crews and infantry from Tunisia to Normandy reported "Tigers" everywhere, and many turned out to be Panzer IVs.
